Jaci Velasquez Wows Joel Osteen's Church

Platinum selling Christian artist Jaci Velasquez has wowed congregants at the US' largest church, Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, at a recent concert.

Lakewood Church, the largest and fastest growing church in the United States, is led by the popular pastor, author, and speaker Joel Osteen. More than 52,000 worshippers gather during the church's English and Spanish language services.

In addition to the concert, which drew over 8,000 people, Velasquez joined Lakewood's worship team for a song at their Saturday evening and Sunday morning church services.

Velasquez is currently finishing up the recording of her new studio record, which will release on A'postrophe Records/Word Distribution on 18 March 2008.

She was joined at Lakewood by her husband Nic Gonzales, lead singer for popular Christian group Salvador, who is also working on a new Salvador record slated to release in 2008.
