New artist John David's (BHT Records) first single "Miracle" has leapt into the "Top 10" on R&R's AC Indicator chart. The single has been one of the "Most Increased" songs at both R&R's AC Monitor and Indicator charts for the last two weeks. The song continues to gain momentum on both charts and to pick up adds on stations nationwide.
His debut album "Made to Shine," was written over a three-year writing period and showcases Webster's expansive vocals, honest songwriting and organic sophistication.
"The situation right now with 'Miracle' is that it's one of those odd sensations where the song and the voice are Big League, but 'John David Webster' still sounds new to people. Based on reaction to this song, that will change. Oh yes. It will change," proclaims South Bend, Indiana's WFRN music director Doug Moore. "As Yoda might say, 'Change it will - change it must.' This is the perfect summer song. And have you heard the entire project yet [Made To Shine]? Do yourself a favor and listen through the whole set. You might feel the same way I did: 'I'm just glad this guy is one of us.' Scary good. Superhuman."
This talented piano-based, pop-rock aritst already has quite a bit of experience. He's opened for a number of notable Christian artists, including Rich Mullins, Third Day, Shaun Groves and Delirious?. Even before signing a recording contract, he's performed during Billy Graham crusade events, Promise Keepers and Calvary Chapel events and at Greg Laurie's Harvest Crusades.
Currently, he is touring the nation to perform at concerts and lead worship for churches and conferences.
