January 25, 2005, acclaimed singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne will release his new album "Gentle Revolution", his sixth studio album.

This album represents Krippayne's spiritual journey over the last few years.

"If I've learned anything over the past year or two, it's that I've got a long way to go to really make a difference and to be a true follower of Jesus," says Krippayne. "That's where I've been living lately, trying to sort out what's really important in life and how to represent Christ in the world."

"The idea behind "Gentle Revolution" is change," continues Krippayne. "Any revolution means change, and while we associate that idea with overthrow, Jesus brought a gentle revolution into the lives of everyone he met. He touched them. He listened to their stories and gave them the truth."

This project was a great challenge to Krippayne- in result came out a beautiful 10 song CD that contains amazing depth, both lyrically and musically.

Krippayne, whose accolades include penning 16 No. 1 hits, being named the No. 1 Christian Artist of the Year for American Songwriter Magazine (1996) and garnering several Dove nominations, to name a few, has also written songs for such well-known artists as Avalon, John Tesh, Jaci Velásquez, FFH and Sandi Patty. His song, "It Wouldn't Be Christmas Without You," recorded by Tesh, reached the top 20 on mainstream AC radio. Krippayne further co-wrote two songs "Do It Again" and "God Is In It" for Point Of Grace's current project, I Choose You.

This February, Krippayne also joins Point Of Grace along with Slanted Records artist Charity Von, for a 25-plus city I Choose You tour. Showcasing new songs from Gentle Revolution, the tour will hit major markets across the U.S., including Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville and others. Prior to the start of the tour, Spring Hill Music Group plans to invite key radio personnel to experience Krippayne's personable live performance during tour rehearsals.

Music from "Gentle Revolution" and an artist interview with Krippayne will also be featured on Soul 2 Soul radio, slated to air January 29. Soul 2 Soul can be heard on over 500 radio outlets in the United States and abroad, including Europe, the Far East, Australia, and South America.
